Darrigon Console

Designed by Von Saal Design build in Napa, CA.  

An eleven foot console table of Olive Wood from a reclaimed tree found in Napa. The wood is pricey and usually used for smaller goods: turned pens, bowls, end tables. Four large slabs were milled into panels, re-glued for stability and constructed into a complex torsion box for structure. The sides of the piece were then laminated with bronze, polished to a high gloss, and left unfinished to develop character with time and use.
