Booze Trolley
A good booze trolley should have a story to tell. This one had a few before it left my shop floor. Designed as a birthday gift in May of 2014 for some good friends in Berkeley, CA. The client and I drove out and hand selected some choice Bastogne and Claro walnut from the fellas at California Urban Lumber in Martinez.
I had wood milled and parts built before construction was postponed as urgent summer kitchen jobs elbowed their way into the production schedule. The clients moved to Dallas, TX. My wife got a job in Amherst, MA. The parts were packed onto the truck and shipped cross country through the brutal 2014/2015 Snowpocalypse.
The parts survived with only a few bumps and bruises and I set up shop at the New England School of Architectural Woodworking. I helped teach a 5 month career training course in cabinetmaking before finding the time to assemble and finish the cart in May of 2015. Then I had to patina the casters - let's not get into that.
